About the Author
I am the self-published author of four works of fiction. Themes in my writing include healing from trauma and illness, family life, and clean romance.
People often asked me why I write fiction when I seldom read it. I prefer non-fiction because it’s true.
However, fiction can be a wonderful medium for imparting truth, and that’s what I strive for in my novels.
Each weave together experiences and events gleaned from my own life and the lives of others.
The Keeper was inspired by factual accounts from people like Dr. Chris Seacrest.
Roses in December explores the topic of poor choices made in our youth and is set in the 1970s.
Curandero is loosely based on my own experiences and the incidents of people I’ve known with regard to serious illness.
Connections—a collection of five short stories—showcases difficult lessons learned while navigating the shoals of life.
I work caring for developmentally disabled adults and reside in southeastern Arizona. My hobbies including writing and hiking in the national parks.
