About the Author
For most my life I have had a keen interest in the worlds many differing views about humanity's biggest questions; such as how can we reconcile God and science, and asking, is God real? I guess my main quest has been to seriously contemplate and evaluate how we can possibly believe the old ideas about God in the face of modern scientific knowledge and understandings. Now, in my late fifties, and after decades of thoughtful research and study, I no longer believe it has to be God versus science, and I have a passion to write about what I have learned. My mission was to take into account metaphysics, mystical, and philosophical insights. As the author of The Plausibility of God, I write to present a logical non-religious argument for believing in God, and to describe spirituality and Divine Purpose as a fact-based science-friendly subject. The thoughts and views expressed within my writings are derived from a lifetime of gathering and interpreting information, science aspects, and philosophical perspectives from around the world – along with personal opinion, reasoning, and conclusions. The hope is to bring together respectfully modern knowledge and age-old insights and philosophies into an open or congenial explanation of God that can sit comfortably in the balance.
