About the Author
MJ Krause-Chivers is a historical fiction writer born and living in Canada. She is a descendant of Mennonite refugees from Soviet Ukraine. She grew up hearing romantic tales about Czarist Russia and horrors of communism. After visiting in Ukraine, she decided to write a series about a young girl growing up during the pre-Soviet era.
The author enjoys watching historical movies, learning new languages, hiking and travel.
