A unit of the Seventh Cavalry is on a mission over Afghanistan when their plane is hit. The thirteen men and women bail out of the crippled plane, but when they reach the ground, they are not in Afghanistan. And it seems they have descended two thousand years into the past where primitive forces fight with swords and arrows. The platoon is thrown into a battle where they must choose sides quickly or die. They are swept along in a tide of events so powerful that their courage, ingenuity and weapons are tested to the limits of their durability and strength.
Matthew “Wolf” Steel hated flying commercial. Luckily his job as a Navy SEAL meant he didn’t have to do it very often. He’d been unlucky enough to be assigned a middle seat on the cramped jet, but fortunately for him, the woman next to him was willing to switch seats with him. Hoping for a relaxing flight, Wolf was pleasantly surprised at the good conversation and sense of humor the woman had as they flew 36,000 feet over the countryside.
When Caroline boarded the plane to Virginia to move across the country for her new job she never expected to be seated next to the hottest guy she’d ever seen. She also never expected he’d be so easy to talk to. She knew he’d never be interested in talking to her if he hadn’t been trapped in the seat next to her, but it was a nice way to spend a long plane ride.
Neither Wolf nor Caroline were prepared for a terrorist hijacking of their plane, but if Caroline thought that would be the last time she’d see, or need, Wolf, she’d be sorely mistaken.

A book designed for active duty US service members and vets. Provides higher learning tricks of the trade that service members use to advance their degree plans while on active duty and shortly thereafter – with a general focus on the Tuition Assistance (TA) roller coaster ride – for if and when TA becomes unavailable due to lack of funding or politics (in the news recently, remember?).
Book chapters range from how to confirm a school’s accreditation (a huge distractor if you discover your university or college is not accredited) – to the surprisingly fast CD-ROM distance education – to experiential (prior) learning and cooperative education.
The second edition contains an expanded list of military-friendly, regionally accredited colleges and universities – with links to their respective TA, military appreciation, or geographical location web pages.
Note to military-friendly universities and colleges: If you notice that your regionally accredited school is missing from the book, please feel free to write a review about this book at Amazon accordingly. Please note that the author will confirm accreditation at the official US Department of Education web site, as he notes in the book.
