What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
Someone very close to me was deserted when she was pregnant. Despite all the support from her family, we could not fill the void, answer her questions, or soothe her broken heart. She had to face that journey back to happiness on her own. It was this personal experience that inspired Seasons.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
Again, I was inspired by reality. I saw both strength and vulnerability throughout my friend's journey. I watched and listened to her children. I tried to capture their voices in my characters. Max is based on my husband. Stoic, private, but incredibly compassionate. A man's man who can handle whatever life throws at him and cherishes family.
