About the Author
Drica Pinotti, a Brazilian-born author, has been taking the literary world by storm with her witty perception of the modern female. She has fifteen books published in Brazil and Portugal.
She began to write in 2001, when she released her first hit: “De menina a mulher” (From Girl to Woman) (Editora Alegro). This book and its colloquial language brought the author close to her readers and kicked off a series of four books. The “De menina a mulher” series was a huge hit among critics and the public, immediately winning over teens in Brazil and Portugal. All her books had being re-released in Brazil by Editora Rocco and Grupo Record Editorial.
Her work has also been adapted for TV. in partnership with T.V Cultura in Brazil. Drica had created characters for the cartoon entitled Jujubas (inspired on her books).
She is, now, debuting in America with her first romantic comedy, a hilarious New York fairytale titled ‘My Crazy (Sick) Love.’
