FBI Agent Lucinda Ackerman was passing through the town of TinkerHill Falls with renowned arsonist Theodore Stone when he murdered her colleague in the backseat of the car. She was there when he took Agent Gray into the dark woods and she failed to fire her gun when the monster set himself and Agent Gray on fire. She could have ended her friends suffering but she froze. Local Deputy Kelly didn’t.
From the ashes of Stone is born an Ancient Lawman, who is bent on serving his own unique and deadly form of justice down upon the town and its inhabitants.
Reeling from the brutal murder of Deputy Kelly, the town Sheriff Elroy is totally out of his depth but Ackerman, eager to avenge the death of Agent Gray, stays in the town as the body count stacks up. Soon it becomes apparent that a convicted Death-Row inmate, an escapee from the Lawman’s rampage, may just hold the key to the towns survival and if the three can work together, just maybe the town will see daylight once more.
