The first in the Lucky Lucas crime novel series. Ex-Con Ray Rhodes’ claim he was framed on weapons and drug charges is only the beginning when former cop Lucky Lucas is reluctantly dragged into an investigation as a family favor. A fast moving crime novel set in the dark alleys, hourly motels, and streets of San Francisco not frequented by tourists or safe for anyone.
