How is Writing In Your Genre Different from Others?
Recipe books have been around for years, but I’ve always liked smaller cookbooks and wanted to create them based on certain types of cooking or foods. I find that they are easier to use.
What Advice Would You Give Aspiring Writers?
My advice to aspiring writers is to keep your butt in chair and write. Once you have written your first book, get it out there for others to enjoy.
Wendy Wright, aka Chef Goodies, is the author of several recipe books including Cooking with Apples, Slow Cooker Chicken Recipes, Cast Iron Cooking, Dump Cake Recipe Book, Slow Cooker Desserts, and The Great Pumpkin Recipe Book. She has had a passion for cooking since she was a young child, and continues to enjoy spending time in her kitchen cooking and baking for her husband and two sons.
What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I was stuck in a rut with making only blueberry or corn muffins and wanted to come up with a variety of recipes that were both sweet and savory for my family to enjoy.
