What is your dirty little secret and where are you hiding it? In the basement, in the attic, in the cupboard or perhaps under your bed? What exactly is it that you are concealing from everybody and which you under no circumstances want to reveal? Paper chaos or loose heaps of papers on your desk, old, useless things in the lumber-room, boxes with jumble on the ground floor or a totally crammed closet? What about your drawers, night table or the couch table?
Madame Missou knows that there is a corner in your apartment which you are not keen on showing to someone – perhaps even a whole room. You would just love to put up a sign on the door “Do not enter” and to install an automatic release device onto the door handle so that the whole barrack blows itself into pieces rather than exposing yourself to this embarrassment.
Jumble and junk do stress. Both not only create an unpleasant and uncomfortable living environment, they also embody an anchor which keeps us stuck in the past. Useless stuff is simply being kept, stored somewhere and later on forgotten or skillfully ignored. Do you often say to yourself: “Perhaps I can use that again sometime in the future”? It’s just an excuse. If you are honest to yourself, you will use, wear or look at all these things never again.
In this little guide, Madame Missou will give you lot of tips, so that it will be easier for you to find a start to finally get rid of all that chaos and gewgaw.
