Geophysicist Alex Cave has no idea this will be the start of an epic adventure, where he and his friends will be the only people capable of saving humanity from a global catastrophe.
Alex is on vacation sailing the waters of the Puget Sound when he hears a mayday, and sees a brilliant flash of light from an oil tanker. He changes course to help, and discovers there was no explosion. Even more unsettling, the tanker left Valdez, Alaska with a full load of heavy crude, but the oil has mysteriously vanished without a trace.
The next morning, Alex discovers the crew was found frozen on a mountain hundreds of miles inland, and when he tells the Director of National Security about the unusual circumstances, he learns the same thing just happened to another tanker in Houston, Texas. When Alex begins the investigation, he has no idea what he is about to discover will change the fate of civilization forever.
Can Alex and his friends find a solution for this dire situation? Find out in this epic adventure from bestselling author, James M. Corkill.
