Rachel Masters has had a crush on her sexy boss for three years. As far as she knows the millionaire architect is oblivious to her, walking past her desk every morning with barely a nod in her direction. But when the power goes out and they’re trapped in an elevator, the truth comes out in one steamy episode designed to take Rachel’s mind off being claustrophobic.

How is Writing In Your Genre Different from Others?
Not really different, just my own style. I believe every author has a voice that can’t be duplicated.
What Advice Would You Give Aspiring Writers?
Write for the right reasons. I write as a hobby and I write for me. Unless you’re writing to make a living at it keep it fun. If writing became work for me I’d never write another word.
What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
Actually, this is the interracial version of Up in Flames. I’ve been thinking for a long time about trying something like this and I’m very surprised at how successful it’s been. I went into the original story, Up in Flames, tweaked it where it needed to be tweaked, added a new cover and title and published it. It’s been two months and it’s still selling strong.
About the Author:
I’ve wanted to be a writer for as long as I can remember, but life always seemed to get in the way. I didn’t get serious until a few years ago, when encouragement from my family prompted me into submitting to a publisher.
It surprised and thrilled me when a couple months after submitting to Whiskey Creek Press, I received my first contract offer. That book, Cupid’s Arrow under my real name Debbie Wallace, was on the publisher’s best sellers list for two consecutive months. Since then I have re-published it under my pen name, title Kiss Me! I’ve also had 4 best sellers at All Romance Ebooks.
Writing is a hobby for me. It thrills me to be able to share my stories and I love seeing my characters come to life with each new book cover.
Originally from Maine, I now reside in sunny, and ALWAYS hot Florida with my daughter, son-in-law, two grandchildren, and 4 cats. I retired from Disney.
