About the Author:
Christina Debi was born in Brisbane, Australia the third of five children. A childhood spent on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland on golden beaches, swimming in the deepest of blue waters and a young adult life spent hitch-hiking in New Zealand ensured a rich and inspiring grounding in all things down to earth. Christina’s writing began as a child in the form of notes folded and pushed into soft drink bottles and thrown at random into rivers in the naïve hope that someone would read what she had written and respond. But life doesn’t remain idyllic and a reply from the bottle-notes never turned up. So, many tides later and lots of water under the bridge, Christina decided to evaluate her methods of transmission. Christina’s first fiction novel ‘When Life Walks On Bare Soles’ is a down to earth way of looking at different kinds of relationships – good and bad – and how their interplay and dynamics create something that’s called life. Christina could never have fitted all those words inside of a bottle.
